TRI-County All Community Collaborative ( TRACC)
Visit https://dismantleracism.org website to find these activities and a calendar of events for the TRACC and more.
Partners in our region have come together to enhance and promote a deeper understanding of race and race relations in St. Mary’s County and the entire tri-county region. We are educating and mobilizing to help build a fair and just community for all. It began with The Big Conversation Partnership for Dismantling Racism & Privilege in Southern Maryland initiated at Middleham and St. Peters Episcopal Parishes in Calvert County and is now made up of churches, organizations, agencies and citizens in the tri-county.
In St. Mary’s County as a means of sharing collaborative activities and events for St. Mary’s County and the entire region, the Tri-County All Community Collaborative (TRACC) was formed.
We are hosting and providing information and opportunities for exposure to cultural, historical, and contemporary experiences and discussions that reflect on equity…. race, race relations the scientific histories of race in the United States and other issues such as environmental racism . These activities help us learn across ethnic, cultural, gender, ability and orientation lines. #7025 has taken a leadership role and has representatives on steering committees in the Big Conversation and TRACC.
