NAACP Community Awareness Program
The NAACP is focusing on increasing the graduation rate for African American students. They will host an awareness meeting at the St. Mary's County Public Schools' Moakley Street office in Leonardtown, MD on September 8th at 10:00 a.m. The supervisor and director of counseling will discuss programs of studies and graduation requirements. If you have a child entering middle school, starting high school or preparing to graduate from high school, please come to find out what you need to do now to make sure he or she graduates from school. We will discuss High School Assessment tests and the impact they will have on your child's opportunity to graduate. Ministers and families from the faith based community are invited.
